Hi everyone. Mel is in surgery now. She is a strong woman and we know that she is going to come through this.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers. Believe me when I say that we feel your presence. We feel all of you standing with us.
At this point there really isn’t anything new to report. The surgeon said we will know today if the cancer has spread to the lymph nodes or not. We are obviously hoping that it has not. In either case at least we will know the extent of what we’re dealing with.
Thank you to ALL of you again! I simply cannot imaging going through this without your love and well wishes.

Thanks for the update. The entire WWO meeting paused today at 1 PM in a moment of silence to send thoughts to Melanie (and you!).
