Cody Updates by Mom

The first surgery is over.  The surgeon says the Lymph nodes on both sides were NEGATIVE!  This is the first bit of good news we’ve had since this whole thing started.  It also means the cancer is gone.  It does not mean she won’t need chemo necessarily.  This will depend partly on what they find when they biopsy the tumor.  We won’t know the results of that for several days.  For now I’ll take what I can get.  And I choose to take the good news.

Dr. Mann has started the reconstruction and will talk to me when he is done.
