Jim and I are overwhelmed with the amount of love and support that we received yesterday at the party. It was so amazing that you were all there, either in person or spirit, to share this experience with us. We are so blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives. Thank you for the wonderful array of beautiful headgear. I am excited to match them with my new clothes that someone said I needed to purchase. 🙂
After a very long week of side effects, being with all of you in a defiant moment against cancer was soul food for me. Even though the short time tired me out immensely my inner spirit was uplifted and overflowing with your support. You have all helped to add to my armor of strength to get through this whole process. Thank you from the core of our beings for being in our lives.
We are working on the video and will post it somewhere to share with those of you that were not able to join us for the actual cutting process. My dear friend Karyn did such a wonderful job keeping you all entertained throughout the process.
This next week is when both my white and red blood counts will bottom out. The only side effect that they have talked about is fatigue and the need to remain safe from infections and cuts. My blood will not have the ability to fight any infections and will lose some ability to clot so it will be important for me to be very careful.
SIDE NOTE: Someone left a pair of prescription glasses at the party. If you are missing them please let me know and we can get them to you.
Thank you again for a great day! We love you and I feel a little bit stronger from your support. 🙂
