Food Stop #7 and the countdown has begun…

When my brother said that The River Inn in Hanover had the best prime rib, he did not lie.  I have to tell you that it was by far the best prime rib that I have ever had in my life.  I understand completely why the place was so crazy busy but wow was it good.  Well worth the wait.  I am so happy that I had a chance to enjoy this before my surgery.  It was so tender that it may still be on my menu after surgery!  It was so fun to spend time with my brother Roger’s family celebrating his daughters birthday, my brother Steve and his wife(my dear friend Trish) and all of our kids.  We had such a great time.  Thank you so much for putting this together!!  Thank you Roger for also reminding me to take a picture before diving into the meal.  🙂  Thank you to the wonderful people at the River Inn for being so great with our very large and kind of rowdy group.  You guys rock!

So the countdown to the 28th has started.  We are a mere 24 days away or three and a half weeks if you want to look at it that way.  We have a lot to do in this small amount of time.  We have one main food stop left that the Ops leadership has made sure that we will be able to go to the famous Manny’s downtown.  🙂  I am excited for that food stop!  I am also needing to de-Christmastize the house and get it kind of clean before hand as well.  I have had moments that I feel that the time is flying by but also moment of very long days where I just want to get this all over with.  It is like a big huge monster hanging out and waiting around the corner.  Maybe God can give me a little boost of patience.
