Just had lunch on day 4. Purees turkey, pureed peas, mashed potatoes and gravy and pureed peaches. The peaches were the best so far. For breakfast I had pureed pancakes and applesauce. That was fairly good.
The doctor had them take out my drain. Yay! Cell reception is not very good in the room. If you are wanting to call my number is 507-287-4009. I am in room 1-111 at St. Mary’s hospital.

|I’m just catching up after being gone in Memphis & Clarksdale. I am thankful the surgery has gone well and that the healing process is well underway. You, Cody and the family are in my prayers.

Glad to hear that the drain is out. Food will be interesting. I know that you will be doing fine with the food bit, especially when you can get home. Is there any time frame yet on when you will get to go home? You know of course that you have an awesome son at your house. I enjoyed his company. God Bless. I will call at a later time. I love you!

I did eat at Charlies twice while I was there, stayed at the Brentwood one of the nights. Good food, but no Corona Light. Both times I ate there, there were obnoxious drunk people. Oh well, I would go back again.

We were at St. Mary’s, on 7th floor. Wonderful place. I wondered because my cousin’s daughter is an RN at Methodist in the stomach dept.., so to speak. We stayed across the street. Send Jim across to Charlie’s, in the Brentwood…great inexpensive restaurant. We go there each time we’re down because the waitresses remember patients. Love the way that town works, from hospital to hospitality! Stay cool, wonder woman! Our prayers are being answered!! xxoo

We are so happy that you are doing so well. Your food does not sound that good but I am sure you will get use to it. When Frank had his by-pass surgery I had to get rid of all the salt and now if anything has salt in it, I can really taste it.
Bev says Keep up the good work.
When you get home, give Cody a big kiss for us.
