I am home, again

Well, I am back at home now after my short stay at St. Mary’s.  I am very happy to be at home and to be headed back to work tomorrow.  According to the PA that I saw today the opening had closed all the way to 7 mm and they were able to get a 12 mm balloon through the opening during the dilation.  This means that the opening is likely somewhere between 10 or 11 mm.  Not great but not as bad as it was.  Eating is easier.

So, now what?  Well, here’s what is going to happen.  We are now moving on to Plan M.  Yeah, I know I missed a few letters however this time its my plan, not theirs. (Plan Mel starting now)  I am going to wait to get the final reports tomorrow on my online site.  Once I have those I will be taking over my plan.  Lately, I have been going backwards and that is not okay.  We are going to move forwards and we are going to do it my way.  I will let you know what that ends up being later after I have some discussions with my care team.  Sorry for the language but there will be no more throwing shit at the wall.  Sometime when you do that you only get smelly walls.  It’s time to take control.

So, I’m home and have an attitude.  Yep, I’m back folks.  Apparently a 29 hour stay in the hospital for no reason will refocus me.

Have a great night all!

Amazing! Impressive! You are the strongest and most focused person these doctors may have ever worked with. You are likely making history where they will remember and talk about you for the rest of their careers. It is impressive that after all you have been through, you have the focus, knowledge, and strength to take charge in running the final mile.
Best wishes, regards to Jim, and good luck with your Plan M.
God Bless
