We live in a house that has a person with no-stomach and a person with a stomach that want to eat. I thought I would post our cooking. I am 5 years past my TG (total gastrectomy) but I have learned a bit on the way. I am hopeful that this helps even one person navigate the reality of trying to cook for those who have a stomach and those who don’t.
EGGS

My first post is about eggs. They are a wonder with protein and can be source of amazing food for us non-stomachers. The first thing I did was figure out how I like eggs and how I need to cook them.
I like over-easy, my other half likes over-medium, one of my camping friends like over-hard. I have found that cooking my own food is the golden ticket to eating. You may not want to go to this extreme but it is up to you.

Eggs. You can not only cook them fried but you can scramble and also make an omelet. This is where things get easy for me. I can make an omelet for my hubby with cheese. I can then make one for me with cheese onions, gravy and whatever else I find in the fridge. The amazing thing is that eggs can be a taco, burrito or sloppy joe without even blinking an eye. Many of the extra ingredients are easily stored in the fridge or in my house eaten by my son. LOL
As I binge watch cooking shows, I will try to give an idea of what we do to satisfy both a stomach and non-stomach appetite.
