Prayers Needed!!!!

UPDATE:

My niece has updated us that Roger is out of the ICU!!  Yay!  He was sitting in a chair a bit and was almost able to open his right eye.  Keep the good news coming!!  🙂  Thank you to everyone that has been praying.  It is truly a blessing.

 

My brother was in a very bad mo-ped accident last night. We need as many prayers as we can get. His face is smashed up, his neck is broken in three places and he has bleeding on his brain. Please send all of your prayers that you can to him. He is my “no-stomach” twin and being in the hospital will also represent additional complications for weight maintenance. Roger Engnell is his name if you would add him to your prayer chains.

    Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. We just got home after a visit with my brother. He is doing as well as can be expected. We did have some good news as his neck is not broken but fractured in the three places. This is an important distinction as he will likely not have to have surgery on his neck. They believe the bleeding in the brain will heal itself. The face is the biggest injury. He will need to have reconstructive surgery as his right side is a mess. He was awake and talking to us. He knew exactly who we were and even joked a bit. Thank you all for the prayers. He has a long journey but we are thankful for the small victories that were won today. Please send strength prayers to his wife and kids as they also have a very long journey ahead of them as well. Thank you again for all of your prayers!!!!
