Cody Updates by Mom

Welp, we are at that time for surgery. Cody is scheduled to be at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester at 9AM tomorrow. While we are all excited to get this cancer out of Cody, we are all VERY nervous, scared, terrified and anxious.

Jim, Cody and I are in the car driving to Rochester to the hotel. A bit later than expected but we needed to get in a home cooked filet mignon (or minion, in our house) and potato dinner for Codes.

Jim, Phil and I will be at the hospital during the surgery tomorrow. I will be staying at a hotel just across the street to be Mom as much as I possibly can.

If anyone wants to visit, please either PM me on FB, text or call. Cody is expected to be in the hospital for at least 2 nights. Beyond that will depend on how it all goes and his healing, walking and eating goes.

Today we ask for your prayers, thoughts, good vibes and maybe even a rain dance in the back yard. First, we need the good vibes for Cody getting through the surgery as expected, Then, we need the vibes for the cancer to only be in the stomach and cured with surgery.

We all are so very thankful for your support during this time. Cancer is not going to win, not as long as we have all of our support team rooting for us. Thank you!!!
